The Tribute Session:
For those in hospice, in their last two months of life.
The Legacy Project started with one man and one book.
Jake was in hospice dying of cancer. We asked him if we could photograph and interview him so that his stories could be kept alive long after he passed away. We took his words and images and turned them into a book.
Jake loved it so much he showed it to everyone who came to visit him in hospice. Friends and family ordered copies.
This was our gift to Jake. It was also the start of The Legacy Project and Sacred Life Media.
We continue to make books at no charge for those who are in hospice, in the last few months of their life.
A percentage of every Sacred Life Media project goes towards the Tribute Sessions.
This is the heart of our work. This is our deepest why.
